Welcome to NYC’s Street Banner Permit Portal
The New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) issues permits for banners that hang from streetlights and other property under NYC DOT's jurisdiction.
Streetlight banners provide exciting marketing opportunities for public and cultural institutions to promote public events and other cultural exhibits.
Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) and Local Development Corporations may also install banners to promote their areas.
